Dutch Pancakes

The Last week I was in Heerde Holland, I had the privilege of staying with a host family while I was there. There was a very fun family to be with, when we first arrived there was American flags on a few of the doors so that was really special. The husband of the family spoke broken english and broken german enough where I could understand him. While we were there we did some a lot of street evangelism and had a few good talks with people. We had nobody come to Christ from it but God can work in there life. One of the Ladies that two of the girls in my group was staying with, she invited us over one afternoon and here grandson also came who wasn't a Christian and we got to talk to him, he didn't give his life to Christ that day but he did the next day PTL! We also did a program in a few youth services and also in a Church service that was broadcast on the radio. We shared what we did on outreach and shared some encouraging testimony and a few times some of us preached. We also went into some homes where then have small groups and we got to go there and share some more with them. It was a really good week I really enjoyed it. We got to do a lot of different things, building up the church like Paul talks about a lot, and also street evangelism talking to people about Christ. Another really fun thing is they ride bike everywhere, so i got to ride a bike from the house i was staying to the house where we would meet every morning that was really fun and it is so flat that it is really easy, it something that I wouldn't hardly do at home. It was such a good week God is good!!

Amsterdam

I have been in Amsterdam for about a week now and on saturday morning I am going to a Dutch village and we will be doing a lot of street evangelism and also we will doing speaking in Churches about what God did on our outreach! I am also really excited for this next week. While we are here in Amsterdam it has ben a week of debrief about our 9 weeks of outreach and also a week to recover from all of the work and the busy schedules that we had. The debriefs have gone well it has really helped me to look back and remember things and bring back to my remembrance of what we saw God do on outreach and how God worked through us. It has been a very good week.

So hopefully I will have a little bit more to share next time I update my blog.

Athens

Athens where to began! When we hear on the news about the financial crisis that Greece is in, I guess in American we think it doesn't matter it isn't effecting me. But once you are here and see it for your self. WOW. The Greeks are very effected by it. But not nearly as bad as all of the immigrants. Many of the people in Athens are from Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan. They come from there homes to Europe seeking a better life. But I would think that it is worse. I talked to one guy from Afghanistan he has ben in Athens for six yeas the first four years he was in Athens he lived on the streets. to me it doesn't sound like it would be better. but what do I know. I am so privileged where I live. In America I never have to go to bed hungry to sleep in a park bench. I am so privileged to be a American! One encouraging thing is all of the Afghans that I have talked to Love America and Love the Army and are thankful for what we are doing in Afghanistan.

Most of the work we are doing here in Athens Is working with different organization that are working with the Immigrants and homeless people. (2 of the 3 organizations that I have worked with are American based and the U. S. embassy and some of the Greek churches supplies one of the organizations with clothing for the families) Most of the time the people come to these places at certain times and we would feed them and meal and share the gospel with them. One of the organizations is for families with children and another one is for single men. It is encouraging to see these organizations at work and work along side them and see the people get fed and even more important hearing about Jesus. Most of the people from Afghanistan say they are muslim, but they do not actually practice.

Please be praying for Greece and the hard financial situation that there are in. Also pray that God would give us the strength to keep going strong this the ministers. Also when I see this it reminds me to pray for my country because I do not want to see my country go through what Greece s going through.

Thank you for your prayers

Last Week in Italy

Happy New Year!
This year has already be a very exciting year so far! last week in Cosenza we did a youth camp at a church! It went really well, everybody in my team had a chance to speak at it and the main topic of the week was on hearing Gods voice. I did my talk on Prayer. We also got to do a lot of street evangelism with the youth as well. For some of them it was the first time they did street evangelism but they did a good job. We got to have so really good conversations with the youngsters. And one of our guys played the guitar and he got the play with some young people that and build a connection with them. We didn't convert any to Christ but we got to show Gods love for them through us and just show them that having a relationship with Gods isn't boring that some people make it out to be. We could show them its so much fun and we are really sincere in what we believe. One time me and some of the guys started talking about poker. and I always have a deck of cards with me (you never know when you have time for a game of Euchre) and I got out my cards and showed them how to shuffle and do the bridge and do the spring. because in Europe most people don't know how do shuffle that is just a american thing, and it opened a door to talk with them.

This week we are getting to do a lot more street evangelism and pass out tracts and talk to those that will listen to us. It is real good because the people in Italy are very open and a lot of them know of God because  of the Catholic church but they don't know about a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thank you all of your prayers! I am also praying for all of you that God will bless in this New Year.

With Christ

Jayson

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated this! Internet is very limited.
After I left Switzerland on the 15th of Dec we went back to Germany to get our visas and then I went back to Switzerland on the 17th (so 2 9 hour drives with 1 day in between) to meet one of the guys in our DTS and to be with the France and Spain team for a few more days. Then my team picked me up on the way from Germany to Italy and we made it to Italy in the early morning of the 20th. We spent a few days in Turin doing street evangelism and working with a church there and we did a few church services with them. Then we travel south on the 24th we went to Piza and saw the Tower of Piza and we also went to Florence then we traveled to Rome and spent Christmas day in Rome! Rome is a very Beautiful city and I got to see a lot of things. The next morning we traveled to Naples and worked with a church there and did 2 church services in 2 days with them and also some street evangelism. Then we traveled to Catanzaro where we have ben sense the 28th and we will leave here on the 2nd of January. It has been a very fun and exciting time of outreach! I have seen God do some really amassing things! Please keep me in your prayers!

Thank you very much and God Bless!!

Switzerland

Sorry It has been so long sense I have updated my blog but I have ben so busy! We have had lectures the last three weeks and they have all ben very good and I have learned a lot! We have also done a outreaches out in Zurich and in a few of the other towns surrounding Zurich! It has ben really good, we went door to done and handed out the Jesus video one week and we had some very good responses it was very exciting to see. We have also gone into the Red-light district in Zurich. It is very different then the one in Hamburg! The one in Hamburg was ALOT bigger but for some reason this one has a certain presents about it that makes the atmosphere around the place worse. If I had my choice between the 2 red-light districts I would rather be at the one in Hamburg just because when I was there I could see it but a lot of what is happening in Zurich's is in the Spiritual realm. But God works everywhere inducing in these places. We have also done so ministry in the streets and prayed for people and we have seen some healing it has ben very good to see God work.
We have one more week here and it is really hard to believe it seems like we just got here. On Thursday I will be going back to Herrnhut Germany because the majority of my team did not get our visas so instead of going strait from switzerland to Torino Italy, which is 4 hours we have to go back to Germany to get the visas and then drive the next week to Italy which is about a 13 hour drive. But it will be alright and aim very excited about it.

Thank you for you continued prayers

Hamburg wand Bautzen

The 2 weeks in Hamburg were awesome it was really fun to see God work through us. God really used us with the homeless there. we became quite good friends with the guy who ran the place where all the homeless live. He never said he was the boss be we could just tell. We also had some great time of outreach at the 2 red-light districts in Hamburg. We didn't lead anybody to Christ or talk anybody out of being a prostitute. we we had some good conversations with them just showing them Gods love. Our lecture the second week we were there on Spiritual warfare. The guy that taught us his name is Sam Hoffmann he is a awesome teacher!! He spent 20 years as a missionary in India! It is amassing the passion and zeal he has for the Lord! It was so much fun to learn from him and go with him on outreaches into the city. I would love to go with him to India someday of take a secondary school from him. He is just a awesome guy. My sister met him several times during her travels to India. Also the second week we were there had 4 nights in a row of pray from 12:00am to 4:00am. 4 other guys and I made it for all 4 nights. It was some awesome times of prayer and God really came and was with us during those times. The 2 guys that led it are from Nigeria, in Nigeria all night prayer meetings are just apart of life its just something you do all the time. If we could learn to pray like the people that are not in the west we could change the would with our prayers.

In Bautzen It was suppose to be a week of mini outreach. We did some outreaches into the city and prayer walked. The best part of the week was just the rest we got, because the 2 weeks in Hamburg were go go go all the time. So it was really good to relax and catch our breath. The room the guys slept in was a youth cafe and it had a pool table and a foosball table and darts. We played pool all the time! it was a lot of fun. I have to say I was not to bad b4 i started but after playing about 50 games in 5 days i got a lot better. (if i don't sink the black ball to soon) We were suppose to get our visas that week but unfortunately they didn't not come in only one of our guys got them and all of the other none Europeans didn't not get them. Because of this we will have to came back to the YWAM base in Herrnhut after our month in Switzerland to get our visa. It is ok because our times are in Gods hands.

The situation the ti posted last time with my passport has all worked out I didn't not have to go to Berlin to get more pages added. it is going to be ok. Thank the Lord.

Thank you for your prayers
